Continuing his interaction with people just like during the "Bharat Jodo Yatra", Rahul Gandhi met and spoke with a group of truck drivers at a dhaba in Murthal on NH-44. During the conversation with them, he decided to accompany Prem Rajpoot from Firozabad, UP in his truck. Rahul had a wonderful conversation with Prem and his companion Rakesh that made the 6 hours pass in no time. The Reality of Truckers in India 3 crore Indians are directly employed in the Truck Industry Every year there is a demand for 9 lakh new truck drivers They are the backbone of India's logistics sector, but 98% of truck drivers, don't want their family members to join their profession Most of them complained of harassment by police and low & irregular income.  Rahul Gandhi has continued to listen to the voice of common Indians across the nation.
